Clinical Supervision with Deborah Kelly, LCSW
Supervision is Personal
Hi there—I’m Deborah. If you’re looking for supervision that feels human, grounded, and real—you’ve found a soft landing.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over sixteen years experience working across diverse settings—from agencies to private practice—and a background in trauma, psychodynamic work and attachment-based therapy. Supervision, to me, isn’t just a step toward licensure. It’s a space to be seen, to wrestle with the hard stuff, and to grow into the clinician you’re becoming.
I supervise because I genuinely love helping other clinicians discover their voice, deepen their insight, and feel supported along the way. My style is warm, collaborative, and rooted in curiosity—not just about what you’re doing, but about who you’re becoming. Whether you’re bringing a tricky case, a moment of doubt, or something you’re proud of, you’re invited to bring your full self here. This is about more than hours. It’s about building a grounded, ethical foundation for the therapist you want to be. You don’t have to have it all figured out. This space is for you to show up as you are.
What to Expect
You are encouraged to bring:
• Case material (de-identified) and clinical questions
• Ethical dilemmas or moments of uncertainty
• Countertransference themes or things that feel “sticky”
• Identity work—who you are and how it shows up in the room
• Practical questions about documentation, boundaries, burnout, etc.
• Areas where you’re feeling stuck
• Discussion of clinical topics you’re curious about or passionate about exploring
• Sharing and reviewing resources, readings, or tools you can use in your work
Nothing is too big or too small. This is your space.
My role is to support you clinically and personally and to help you build confidence and congruence as the LCSW you want to be. My supervision style is warm, collaborative, and focused on who you are becoming as a clinician. We’ll look over cases, explore countertransference, and reflect on your development with curiosity, not perfectionism.
